Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz Spaghetti (or any pasta type)
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 1/2 cup Olive Oil (extra virgin)
- 4 cloves Garlic Flakes
- 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
- 2 tbsp Dried Parsley
- To taste Black Pepper
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve a cup of pasta water, then drain the rest.
- Make the Sauce: In a large skillet over medium heat, pour in the olive oil. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for about 2 minutes until golden and fragrant.
- Combine: Quickly toss the drained spaghetti into the skillet, coating it with the oil and garlic. If the pasta feels dry, add a splash of reserved pasta water to achieve desired consistency.
- Season: Stir in the dried parsley and season with black pepper to taste. Mix well.
- Serve: Enjoy immediately while hot, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
Notes
Consider pairing with a side salad or adding freshly grated Parmesan. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
