  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (or homemade chocolate cake)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup Oreos, crushed (plus more for decoration)
  • 1 cup chocolate frosting
  • 12 mini Oreo cookies (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil, and mix until well blended.
  3. Fold in the crushed Oreos gently.
  4. Fill each cupcake liner about two-thirds full with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Allow the cupcakes to cool completely on a wire rack.
  6. Once cooled, frost with chocolate frosting and garnish each cupcake with a mini Oreo on top for that Mickey Mouse look.
