- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season both sides of the chicken breasts with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and paprika until well-coated.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add butter and let it melt. Sear the chicken breasts for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they achieve a beautiful golden brown.
- Transfer the seared chicken to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature reads 165°F (75°C).
- Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
For juicier results, let the chicken come to room temperature before cooking. Rest the meat after cooking to retain its juices.
