Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a 9 x 13-inch baking dish by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Pound the chicken breasts down to about ¾ inch thick for even cooking.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise (or yogurt), Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.
  4. Spread this creamy mixture evenly over each chicken breast, ensuring complete coverage.
  5. Place the chicken in the baking dish and sprinkle with optional paprika or Italian seasoning for a flavorful top.
  6. Bake uncovered for 35–45 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the top is beautifully golden.
  7. Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before serving to lock in maximum juiciness.

Notes

For a lighter dish, swap out mayonnaise for Greek yogurt. Optional spices can be adjusted to personal taste.
