Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a 9 x 13-inch baking dish by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
- Pound the chicken breasts down to about ¾ inch thick for even cooking.
- In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise (or yogurt), Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Spread this creamy mixture evenly over each chicken breast, ensuring complete coverage.
- Place the chicken in the baking dish and sprinkle with optional paprika or Italian seasoning for a flavorful top.
- Bake uncovered for 35–45 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the top is beautifully golden.
- Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before serving to lock in maximum juiciness.
Notes
For a lighter dish, swap out mayonnaise for Greek yogurt. Optional spices can be adjusted to personal taste.
