Delicious gyros wrapped in warm pita bread, filled with marinated chicken, fresh veggies, and creamy feta tzatziki.

- 1 pound chicken breast, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 pita breads
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cucumber, diced
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken slices and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Cook the marinated chicken in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked.
- While the chicken is cooking, prepare the tzatziki by mixing Greek yogurt, feta cheese, lemon juice, dill, and diced cucumber in a separate bowl.
- To assemble the gyros, place a pita bread on a plate, add cooked chicken, lettuce, tomato, and onion. Drizzle with creamy feta tzatziki.
- Roll up the pita and serve warm.
Notes
For best flavor, marinate chicken for several hours. Serve with lemon slices and extra toppings on the side.
