- 2 cups mashed potatoes (prepared)
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Oil or cooking spray for frying/baking
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) if baking, or heat oil in a deep fryer if frying.
- In a large bowl, combine the warm mashed potatoes with cheddar cheese, eggs, flour, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
- Form the mixture into golf ball-sized portions.
- If baking, place the puffs on a greased baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. For frying, gently place the puffs in hot oil until crispy and golden.
- Allow the puffs to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!
