  • Red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
  • Olive oil
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini according to the package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  4. Add the spinach and cook until wilted if fresh or heated through if frozen.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  6. Toss the cooked tortellini with the creamy sauce until well-coated.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil.
