- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch piece ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 cups cooked rice
- Optional toppings: green onions, sesame seeds, assorted vegetables
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until it’s no longer pink.
- Add minced garlic and ginger, stirring for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the soy sauce, stirring gently, and let the mixture simmer for a few minutes.
- Serve the beef mixture over the hot cooked rice, and add your favorite toppings.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute ground beef with turkey or tofu. Add gochujang for spice if desired.
