Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch piece ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • Optional toppings: green onions, sesame seeds, assorted vegetables

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until it’s no longer pink.
  2. Add minced garlic and ginger, stirring for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the soy sauce, stirring gently, and let the mixture simmer for a few minutes.
  4. Serve the beef mixture over the hot cooked rice, and add your favorite toppings.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute ground beef with turkey or tofu. Add gochujang for spice if desired.
