- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

- 1 cup strawberry jam
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a bowl, combine the dry ingredients—flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla.
- Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry until well combined.
- Divide the batter between the prepared pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let the cakes cool completely before frosting.
- On one cake layer, spread a generous layer of strawberry jam followed by whipped cream and fresh strawberries.
- Place the second layer on top and frost the entire cake with more whipped cream.
- Garnish with additional fresh strawberries before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze individual slices wrapped tightly.
