Description

A delightful two-layer vanilla birthday cake filled with strawberry jam and whipped cream, perfect for celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup strawberry jam
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a bowl, combine the dry ingredients—flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla.
  4. Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry until well combined.
  5. Divide the batter between the prepared pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Let the cakes cool completely before frosting.
  7. On one cake layer, spread a generous layer of strawberry jam followed by whipped cream and fresh strawberries.
  8. Place the second layer on top and frost the entire cake with more whipped cream.
  9. Garnish with additional fresh strawberries before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze individual slices wrapped tightly.
