Description

Delicious jalapeno poppers filled with creamy cheese and crispy bacon, perfect for parties and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 12 jalapenos (fresh, medium-sized)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • 3 Tbsp green onion (chopped)
  • 1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
  • 6 oz bacon (cooked and chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Halve the jalapenos lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, minced garlic, salt, pepper, chopped green onions, shredded cheddar, and cooked bacon until smooth.
  4. Fill each jalapeno half with the mixture until level with the sides.
  5. Place the stuffed jalapenos on a baking sheet and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  6. Serve warm or let cool to room temperature.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh from the oven, can be served with sour cream or ranch dressing.
