Ingredients

- 12 jalapenos (fresh, medium-sized)
- 8 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
- 1 garlic clove (minced)
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp ground black pepper
- 3 Tbsp green onion (chopped)
- 1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
- 6 oz bacon (cooked and chopped)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Halve the jalapenos lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, minced garlic, salt, pepper, chopped green onions, shredded cheddar, and cooked bacon until smooth.
- Fill each jalapeno half with the mixture until level with the sides.
- Place the stuffed jalapenos on a baking sheet and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Serve warm or let cool to room temperature.
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh from the oven, can be served with sour cream or ranch dressing.
