- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 jar marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and milk; mix thoroughly.
- Form the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the formed meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until they are cooked through and golden.
- Meanwhile, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat in a large pan.
- Carefully transfer baked meatballs to the pan with sauce and simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
Notes
For best results, don’t overmix the meatball mixture and test for seasoning before forming all the meatballs.
