Ingredients

- 3 cups bread flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Italian herb mix (oregano, basil, thyme)
- 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or Parmesan)
Instructions
- Add warm water, milk, and olive oil to the bread machine pan.
- Carefully sprinkle the flour over the liquids.
- Add the sugar, salt, and then the yeast.
- Layer the Italian herbs and shredded cheese on top.
- Select the basic or dough cycle on your bread machine and start it up.
- Once the cycle is complete, remove the dough and shape it into a loaf.
- Allow it to rise in a warm place until it doubles in size.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for about 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let it cool before slicing. Enjoy it fresh with your favorite meal!
Notes
For added flavor, include roasted garlic or sun-dried tomatoes in the dough. Store in a bread box for up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage.
