Description

Ingredients

  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Italian herb mix (oregano, basil, thyme)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or Parmesan)

Instructions

  1. Add warm water, milk, and olive oil to the bread machine pan.
  2. Carefully sprinkle the flour over the liquids.
  3. Add the sugar, salt, and then the yeast.
  4. Layer the Italian herbs and shredded cheese on top.
  5. Select the basic or dough cycle on your bread machine and start it up.
  6. Once the cycle is complete, remove the dough and shape it into a loaf.
  7. Allow it to rise in a warm place until it doubles in size.
  8. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for about 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let it cool before slicing. Enjoy it fresh with your favorite meal!

Notes

For added flavor, include roasted garlic or sun-dried tomatoes in the dough. Store in a bread box for up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage.
