Description

Delicious crab cake bites that are crispy on the outside and tender within, served with a zesty lemon-dill sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Lump Crab Meat
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1/4 cup Chives, chopped
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, freshly grated

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the lump crab meat, softened cream cheese, sour cream, Old Bay seasoning, chopped chives, and the egg. Mix gently to keep the crab meat intact.
  2. Shape the mixture into small patties or bites, about an inch in diameter.
  3. Roll each crab cake bite in panko bread crumbs to coat thoroughly.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the crab cake bites in batches until golden brown, approximately 3-4 minutes on each side.
  5. For the lemon-dill sauce, mix together sour cream, fresh dill, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt.
  6. Serve the crab cake bites on a platter with the zesty lemon-dill sauce on the side for dipping.
