  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup Butter (melted)
  • 1 large Egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon Powdered Sugar (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the defrosted puff pastry on a floured surface for easier handling.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
  4. Brush the melted butter generously over the puff pastry.
  5. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the buttered pastry.
  6. Cut the pastry into long strips.
  7. Twist each strip several times and place them on your prepared baking sheet.
  8. Beat the egg and brush it over the twists for a golden finish.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the twists are puffed and golden brown.
  10. Once done, sprinkle with powdered sugar for that stunning finishing touch.
