Instant Pot Steak Bites

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x
  • Diet: Non-Vegetarian

Description

Quick and flavorful steak bites cooked to perfection in an Instant Pot.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • Optional: Fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Set your Instant Pot to ‘Sauté’ mode and pour in the olive oil.
  2. Season the bite-sized steak pieces with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In batches, sear the steak bites in the Instant Pot until they are nicely browned on all sides.
  4. Carefully remove the steak bites and set them aside.
  5. Pour the beef broth into the pot to deglaze, ensuring you scrape up any browned bits for added flavor.
  6. Return the steak bites to the pot.
  7. Close the lid, set the valve to sealing, and cook on ‘High Pressure’ for 8 minutes.
  8. Once the cooking time is completed, perform a quick release to release the pressure.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Consider marinating the steak in a mixture of soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce for extra flavor and tenderness.
