Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- Optional: Fresh herbs for garnish
Instructions
- Set your Instant Pot to ‘Sauté’ mode and pour in the olive oil.
- Season the bite-sized steak pieces with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In batches, sear the steak bites in the Instant Pot until they are nicely browned on all sides.
- Carefully remove the steak bites and set them aside.
- Pour the beef broth into the pot to deglaze, ensuring you scrape up any browned bits for added flavor.
- Return the steak bites to the pot.
- Close the lid, set the valve to sealing, and cook on ‘High Pressure’ for 8 minutes.
- Once the cooking time is completed, perform a quick release to release the pressure.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
Consider marinating the steak in a mixture of soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce for extra flavor and tenderness.
