- 5–6 large Granny Smith apples, sliced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup (or honey)
- 1 cup water
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
Instructions
- Prep the Apples: Peel and core the apples, slicing them into 1/2-inch pieces and tossing with lemon juice.
- Transfer to Instant Pot: Place sliced apples in the Instant Pot.
- Add Flavors: Combine brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and maple syrup with the apples.
- Mix Cornstarch & Water: In a separate bowl, mix water and cornstarch until smooth, then pour into the Instant Pot.
- Cook: Secure lid, ensure valve is sealed, and Pressure Cook on manual for 1 minute.
- Release and Serve: Perform Quick Release, gently stir the apples, and serve warm.
Notes
