  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup (or honey)
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Prep the Apples: Peel and core the apples, slicing them into 1/2-inch pieces and tossing with lemon juice.
  2. Transfer to Instant Pot: Place sliced apples in the Instant Pot.
  3. Add Flavors: Combine brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and maple syrup with the apples.
  4. Mix Cornstarch & Water: In a separate bowl, mix water and cornstarch until smooth, then pour into the Instant Pot.
  5. Cook: Secure lid, ensure valve is sealed, and Pressure Cook on manual for 1 minute.
  6. Release and Serve: Perform Quick Release, gently stir the apples, and serve warm.

Notes
