Ingredients

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
- Turn on the Instant Pot to sauté mode and melt the butter.
- Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
- Sprinkle the onion soup mix and flour over the chicken, followed by pouring in the chicken broth.
- Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to manual mode for 10 minutes.
- Allow for a 5-minute natural release before quick releasing the remaining pressure.
- Remove the chicken and shred it if preferred.
- Whisk the gravy in the pot until smooth and serve over the chicken.
- If desired, garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
For extra flavor, add garlic or fresh thyme while sautéing. For thicker gravy, mix more flour with water and stir it in while cooking.
