- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup pure honey
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, and sesame oil until combined.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper to taste.
- Place the seasoned chicken in the prepared baking dish. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the top, ensuring the chicken is well-coated.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Allow it to rest for a few minutes before slicing, then garnish with chopped green onions. Serve over rice or with your choice of vegetables.
Notes
For a crispy texture, broil the chicken for the last few minutes of cooking. Marinade chicken for deeper flavor.
