Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • Parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Allow it to sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add olive oil, flour, and salt to the yeast mixture. Stir until it forms a dough.
  3. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
  5. While the dough rises, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  6. Roll out the dough on a baking sheet.
  7. Brush the dough with melted butter mixed with minced garlic.
  8. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
  9. Place in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
  10. Once baked, garnish with parsley, cut into strips, and enjoy warm.
