Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese to blend smoothly.
  2. Measure and chop cheddar, bacon bits, and Ranch seasoning. If using green onions and nuts, chop them finely.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar, bacon bits, and Ranch seasoning. Mix well.
  4. Shape the mixture into a ball, using plastic wrap to help form it.
  5. If desired, roll the cheese ball in chopped nuts for coating.
  6. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for at least 2 hours to firm up.
  7. Serve with crackers or vegetables.
