Description

A creamy and cheesy dip loaded with sausage, perfect for game days and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground sausage (choose mild or spicy)
  • 1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 10 oz can Rotel (diced tomatoes with green chilies), drained
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until it’s browned and crumbly. Drain excess grease.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Stir in the cooked sausage, drained Rotel, sharp cheddar, and mozzarella until well combined.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and spread the mixture in a baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and slightly golden.

Notes

This dip can be made ahead of time and refrigerated. Reheat in the oven before serving.
