Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, or oregano)
- Coarse sea salt for topping
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the warm water and yeast. Allow it to sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour and salt.
- Add the yeast mixture and olive oil into the flour mixture. Stir until combined.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Transfer the dough to a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Roll out the risen dough onto a greased baking sheet, creating a flat rectangle.
- Dimple the surface of the dough with your fingers, then drizzle with olive oil.
- Sprinkle with fresh herbs and coarse sea salt on top.
- Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing and enjoy!
