- 1 pound spicy Italian sausage
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 package rye cocktail bread
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the spicy Italian sausage and ground beef over medium heat, stirring occasionally until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Reduce heat and stir in the cream of mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until melted and well combined.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Lay out rye cocktail bread on a baking sheet.
- Spoon the meat mixture generously onto each slice of rye bread.
- Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes, until bread is heated through and tops are golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving warm.
Notes
