Description

Delicious appetizers featuring spicy Italian sausage and ground beef on crispy rye cocktail bread, perfect for gatherings and parties.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound spicy Italian sausage
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 package rye cocktail bread
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the spicy Italian sausage and ground beef over medium heat, stirring occasionally until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Reduce heat and stir in the cream of mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until melted and well combined.
  3. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Lay out rye cocktail bread on a baking sheet.
  5. Spoon the meat mixture generously onto each slice of rye bread.
  6. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes, until bread is heated through and tops are golden.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving warm.

Notes
