A twist on a classic burrito, combining seasoned ground beef, fluffy rice, and gooey melted cheese for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup cooked white rice
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
- 1/4 cup chipotle sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 4 large flour tortillas
- Butter or oil for grilling
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat for about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain the excess grease, then stir in the taco seasoning along with 1/4 cup of water. Allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or in the microwave to make them pliable.
- Lay a tortilla flat and layer it with rice, the seasoned beef, nacho cheese, chipotle sauce, sour cream, and a generous sprinkle of both cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
- In a clean skillet, add 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese and place your burrito seam-side down. Grill for 3–4 minutes until the cheese melts and forms a crispy crust. Carefully flip and repeat.
