Description

A twist on a classic burrito, combining seasoned ground beef, fluffy rice, and gooey melted cheese for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 1/4 cup chipotle sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Butter or oil for grilling

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat for about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain the excess grease, then stir in the taco seasoning along with 1/4 cup of water. Allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes.
  2. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or in the microwave to make them pliable.
  3. Lay a tortilla flat and layer it with rice, the seasoned beef, nacho cheese, chipotle sauce, sour cream, and a generous sprinkle of both cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  4. In a clean skillet, add 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese and place your burrito seam-side down. Grill for 3–4 minutes until the cheese melts and forms a crispy crust. Carefully flip and repeat.
