Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers remain soft.
  9. Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
