- 2 heads Garlic (trimmed tops and roasted)
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil (for roasting garlic)
- 8 ounces Cream Cheese (room temperature)
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese (divided for mixing and topping)
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley (chopped for garnish)
- 1 package Crostini or Crackers (for dipping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Wrap the garlic heads in foil with the olive oil and roast them for about 45 minutes until soft and caramelized.
- Once roasted, allow the garlic to cool, then squeeze the cloves into a mixing bowl.
- Add the cream cheese, sour cream, mozzarella, half of the Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is well combined and creamy.
- Transfer the mixture into a baking dish. Top with the remaining Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for about 20 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a spicier twist, consider adding crushed red pepper or green onions. This dip can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to three days.
