Instructions
- Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl; let sit for 5 minutes until bubbly.
- Combine flour and salt in a separate bowl.
- Pour yeast mixture, olive oil, and vinegar into flour mixture; stir to form a dough.
- Cover and let dough rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Shape the risen dough into a baguette and place it on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and hollow-sounding when tapped.
- Allow to cool completely before slicing and serving.
Notes
For different flavors, consider adding herbs or sun-dried tomatoes. Ensure the flour you use contains xanthan gum for proper texture.
