Description
A delightful fusion of sweet and savory, perfect for casual get-togethers, game day feasts, or quick weeknight appetizers.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound kielbasa, sliced
- 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Skewers (optional, for grilling)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and black pepper to create a rich glaze.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced kielbasa and cook until it’s nicely browned, about 5 minutes.
- Toss in the pineapple chunks and pour the glaze over the kielbasa. Mix well to ensure everything is coated.
- Allow the mixture to cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until the sauce thickens.
- If you’re using skewers, thread the kielbasa and pineapple mixture onto them for easy serving.
- Serve warm as appetizers, and watch them disappear!
Notes
Feel free to substitute with turkey kielbasa for a lighter option or use honey instead of brown sugar for a different sweetness profile.
