Glazed Pineapple Kielbasa Bites

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x
  • Diet: Paleo

Description

A delightful fusion of sweet and savory, perfect for casual get-togethers, game day feasts, or quick weeknight appetizers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound kielbasa, sliced
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Skewers (optional, for grilling)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and black pepper to create a rich glaze.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced kielbasa and cook until it’s nicely browned, about 5 minutes.
  3. Toss in the pineapple chunks and pour the glaze over the kielbasa. Mix well to ensure everything is coated.
  4. Allow the mixture to cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until the sauce thickens.
  5. If you’re using skewers, thread the kielbasa and pineapple mixture onto them for easy serving.
  6. Serve warm as appetizers, and watch them disappear!

Notes

Feel free to substitute with turkey kielbasa for a lighter option or use honey instead of brown sugar for a different sweetness profile.
