Description

A flavorful appetizer blending sweet and smoky flavors with kielbasa and pineapple, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 14 oz beef kielbasa, sliced into chunks
  • 20 oz can pineapple chunks, juice reserved
  • 3 tbsp teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp pineapple juice (from canned pineapple)
  • Plain toothpicks (soak in water for 20 minutes to prevent burning)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place sliced kielbasa on the baking sheet and top each piece with a chunk of pineapple.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together teriyaki sauce, sweet chili sauce, honey, and reserved pineapple juice until smooth.
  4. Brush the glaze generously over the kielbasa and pineapple bites.
  5. Insert a soaked toothpick into each piece for serving.
  6. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until heated through and the glaze is caramelized.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

Soak toothpicks for at least 20 minutes before using to prevent burning. For a thicker glaze, simmer the sauce on the stove before brushing.
