Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound fresh green beans
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and trim the green beans, removing any tough ends.

  5. Spread the beans evenly on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  6. Roast in the oven for 15–20 minutes, or until tender and slightly crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the beans.
