Description

A gourmet garlic butter steak with a luscious Parmesan cream sauce, perfect for special occasions or cozy dinners at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pieces ribeye steaks (1-inch thick, about 8 oz each)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season ribeye steaks with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear steaks in a hot skillet with 2 tablespoons of butter for about 4-5 minutes per side.
  3. Rest the steaks for 5 minutes and prepare the sauce in the same skillet.
  4. Lower heat, add heavy cream, and whisk continuously.
  5. Sprinkle in the Parmesan cheese, whisking until the sauce thickens—about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Drizzle the creamy sauce over sliced steak and finish with parsley.

Notes

If out of Parmesan, Pecorino Romano can be a substitute. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
