Description
A culinary delight featuring ribeye steak soaked in rich garlic butter and drizzled with a decadent Parmesan cream sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 pieces ribeye steaks (about 1-inch thick, 8 oz each)
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the steaks by sprinkling salt and pepper evenly over both sides.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter until bubbling. Add the steaks and cook for 4-5 minutes on one side.
- Flip the steaks, add the remaining butter and minced garlic into the skillet, and cook for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and allow them to rest for 5 minutes to lock in the juices.
- Lower the skillet heat to medium, add heavy cream, and continuously whisk to incorporate the browned bits from the bottom. Stir in Parmesan cheese and whisk until the sauce thickens (about 3-4 minutes). Season with additional salt and pepper if needed.
- Slice the rested steaks, arrange them on plates, and drizzle with the creamy Parmesan sauce. Garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
For best results, use high-quality ribeye steaks and allow them to rest before slicing.
