Description
A comforting and indulgent dish featuring tender steak bites in rich garlic butter paired with creamy Parmesan pasta.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb sirloin steak – cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 tablespoons garlic butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or spaghetti)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt the garlic butter over medium-high heat. Add the bite-sized steak pieces, seasoning them with salt and pepper. Sear for about 3-4 minutes, or until browned to your liking. Remove steak from the skillet and set aside.
- Prepare the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a bit of pasta water.
- In the same skillet, add olive oil and heavy cream. Bring it to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy, creating a luscious sauce.
- Toss the cooked pasta and seared steak bites into the sauce, mixing to combine. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of the reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and enjoy immediately!
Notes
For added freshness, serve with a side salad and garlic bread. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for 1-2 months.
