  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 300 g (10 oz) pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups (360 ml) heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (plus extra for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces with a sprinkle of salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
  2. Once cooked, add in the 2 tablespoons of butter and the minced garlic. Stir to coat and cook for another 1-2 minutes until garlic becomes fragrant. Remove from the skillet and set the chicken aside.
  3. In the same skillet, pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring it to a gentle simmer.
  4. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Continue to cook for 2-3 minutes while stirring, letting the sauce thicken slightly.
  5. Meanwhile, cook your chosen pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  6. Combine the cooked pasta with the creamy sauce and add the chicken bites back into the skillet. Mix everything together until coated.
