- 30 green or red grapes (washed and thoroughly dried)
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- ½ cup water
- ¼ cup light corn syrup
- White gel food coloring
- Pink gel food coloring
- Blue gel food coloring
Instructions
- Insert toothpicks or small skewers into each grape and set aside.
- In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, water, and corn syrup. Heat over medium-high heat without stirring once boiling.
- Allow the mixture to boil for 10-15 minutes until it reaches 300°F on a candy thermometer.
- Remove from heat and quickly add white gel food coloring, stirring to combine.
- Dot pink and blue gel food coloring on the syrup and swirl gently without mixing completely.
- Dip each grape into the marbled syrup, coating well and allowing excess to drip off.
- Place grapes on a parchment-lined tray and let the coating harden for about 10-15 minutes before serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days. Work quickly while dipping grapes as the syrup will harden.
