  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened (for frosting)
  • 2/3 cup cocoa powder (for frosting)
  • 3 cups powdered sugar (for frosting)
  • 1/3 cup milk (for frosting)
  • Rainbow sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, melt the butter and mix in the sugar.
  3. Add the eggs one by one, stirring well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, then fold into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the greased pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  6. For the frosting, beat the softened butter and cocoa powder until smooth, then gradually add powdered sugar and milk until desired consistency is reached.
  7. Once the brownies are cool, frost them and sprinkle with rainbow sprinkles. Slice and serve!
