- 2 tablespoons water (optional, for thickening)

Instructions
- Season the beef chuck roast with salt and black pepper.
- In a slow cooker, combine sliced onion, minced garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce.
- Add the beef roast to the slow cooker, ensuring it’s submerged in the liquid.
- Stir in chopped carrots and celery.
- Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, or until the beef is fork-tender.
- If you’d like a thicker gravy, mix cornstarch and water in a bowl until smooth, then stir into the slow cooker in the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Add frozen peas and let them warm through before serving.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
