- 2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, add to the pan, and cook until golden brown, about 5 to 7 minutes on each side. Remove from pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth, bringing it to a simmer.
- Add egg noodles, stirring them into the broth, and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- Drain any excess liquid if necessary, stir in remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, slice the chicken, and return it to the pan. Toss to combine and heat through.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For juicier chicken, consider marinating the chicken breasts for 30 minutes before cooking. You can also customize the recipe with seasonal vegetables or your favorite herbs.
