- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 8 ounces cream cheese, cut into small cubes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot.
- Sprinkle the ranch seasoning over the chicken.
- Cut the cream cheese into small cubes and lay them on top of the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks directly in the crock pot.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon until melted and everything is well combined.
- Serve warm and garnish with chopped green onions.
Notes
For a lighter option, swap cream cheese for Greek yogurt. Serve in buns, over rice, or with tortilla chips.
