- 8 oz Lo Mein Noodles (cooked)
- 1 lb Chicken breast (thinly sliced, optional)
- 1 large Carrot (julienned)
- 2 cups Cabbage (shredded)
- 1 Bell pepper (sliced, any color)
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 inch Fresh ginger (grated)
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp Oyster Sauce (optional)
- 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
- 1 tsp Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Cornstarch
- 2 tbsp Water or broth
Instructions
- Cook your noodles: Start by boiling the Lo Mein noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, cornstarch, and water or broth. Set aside.
- Stir-fry the chicken (if using): In a large skillet or wok, heat some oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken and stir-fry until cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- Sauté the veggies: In the same pan, add garlic, ginger, carrots, cabbage, and bell pepper. Stir-fry until veggies are slightly tender.
- Combine: Add the cooked noodles and chicken back to the pan with the vegetables. Pour over the sauce and toss everything until well-coated and heated through.
- Serve hot: Enjoy your homemade Lo Mein straight from the pan!

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 weeks.
