Description

A delicious and vibrant Thai dish featuring chewy flat rice noodles stir-fried with colorful vegetables and a spicy, tangy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz flat rice noodles
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup snow peas
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili paste
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add red bell pepper, carrot, broccoli, and snow peas; stir-fry for about 5 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  5. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, chili paste, and sugar.
  6. Add the cooked noodles and sauce mixture to the skillet; toss everything together until well combined.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.

Notes

Serve with fresh lime wedges and consider drizzling extra chili paste for added spice.
