Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- In another bowl, mix together the milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix gently until just combined.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon for the filling.
- In the greased loaf pan, layer half of the batter, followed by half of the cinnamon filling; repeat with the remaining batter and filling.
- Swirl the batter and filling together with a knife to create a marbled effect.
- Bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let it cool before transferring to a wire rack.
- For the icing, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth, then drizzle over the cooled bread.
