- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup sweetener (such as coconut sugar or a sugar alternative)
- 1/4 cup coconut oil or unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Optional: 1/2 cup chocolate chips or nuts for added texture
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, cocoa powder, sweetener, and salt.
- Add in the melted coconut oil or butter, eggs, and vanilla. Stir until well mixed.
- If using, fold in chocolate chips or nuts gently into the batter.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
- Let the brownies cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
These brownies can be served warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Experiment with different add-ins like mint or peanut butter for unique flavors.
