Description

A simple and delicious green bean casserole made in the crock pot, perfect for family meals and special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans of green beans, drained
  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup of French fried onions
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In the crock pot, add the drained green beans, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until mixed.
  2. Spread the shredded cheddar cheese over the mixture.
  3. Top it off with half of the French fried onions.
  4. Set your slow cooker to low heat and let it cook for 4 to 5 hours.
  5. In the last 30 minutes, add the remaining French fried onions on top for extra crispiness.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy this irresistible dish.

Notes

Feel free to substitute the cream of mushroom soup with any cream soup like cream of chicken or a homemade béchamel sauce.
