Description
A quick and flavorful side dish of green beans roasted with garlic and topped with Parmesan cheese.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 – 1½ lbs fresh green beans
- 2 Tbsp avocado oil (or olive oil)
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ¼ tsp salt (or to taste)
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Lemon (to squeeze over the top, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Trim the ends of your green beans and place them in a large bowl.
- Add the oil, minced garlic, grated Parmesan, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Toss everything together until the green beans are well coated.
- Spread the green beans evenly on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until you reach your desired level of crispiness.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the roasted green beans just before serving. Enjoy immediately!
Notes
For best results, use fresh green beans and avoid overcrowding the baking sheet to achieve a crispy texture. You can also add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
