- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup cinnamon sugar (for coating)
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Combine the water, butter, salt, and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a rolling boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in the flour until a dough forms.
- Allow the dough to cool slightly, then mix in the eggs and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Pipe small bite-sized shapes onto parchment paper using a piping bag.
- Coat the churro bites lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Roll the warm churro bites in cinnamon sugar before serving.
Notes
For best results, avoid overmixing the dough after adding the eggs. Roll churro bites in cinnamon sugar while still warm for the best coating.
