These spooky deviled eggs are not only fun and visually appealing but also a delicious and healthier alternative for your Halloween parties.
Ingredients

- 6 large eggs
- 2½ tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp yellow mustard
- 1 tsp white vinegar or lemon juice
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Green food coloring (gel or liquid)
- Red food coloring or ketchup (for veins)
- 6 black or green olives, sliced into rounds
- Garlic powder, paprika, or hot sauce (your choice)
- Fresh chives or parsley for garnish
- Sweet relish for tang
Instructions
- Boil the eggs in a pot covered with water. Bring to a gentle boil, cover, turn off the heat, and let sit for 12 minutes.
- Transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool.
- Peel the cooled eggs carefully.
- Cut each egg in half lengthwise and scoop yolks into a bowl.
- Mix yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Add green food coloring until desired shade is achieved.
- Use a piping bag to fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture.
- Place olive slices in the center of each yolk mound for the pupils.
- Draw veins with a toothpick dipped in red food coloring or ketchup.
- Chill until ready to serve.
Notes
You can prepare the yolk mixture a day ahead of time. If decorated with veins, do so shortly before serving for best presentation.
