- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions
- Boil a pot of salted water. Add the rigatoni and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the Italian sausage, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until browned.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Lower the heat and stir in Parmesan until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
- Toss the cooked rigatoni into the skillet, ensuring it is well-coated with the sauce.
- Serve immediately, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
Notes
For a lighter sauce, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half. Add red pepper flakes for heat, or veggies like spinach for nutrition.
