Ingredients

  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken breasts in half horizontally or pound them to an even thickness. Season generously with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and sear for about 4–5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, lower the heat and add the butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about one minute.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to deglaze the pan and incorporate the browned bits. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and let the mixture simmer until it thickens slightly.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, allowing it to simmer for an additional 2–3 minutes to heat through and absorb the sauce.

Notes

Serve with pasta, rice, or steamed vegetables. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
