Description
This rich and indulgent pasta dish combines ground beef with a creamy garlic butter sauce, creating a comforting meal perfect for weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or spaghetti)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add a pinch of salt and cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In the same pot, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic to the melted butter. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Add ground beef to the pot, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and fully cooked through, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
- Add the cooked pasta and grated Parmesan cheese to the pot. Toss well until everything is combined and heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
- Plate your pasta hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
Notes
Feel free to swap the pasta for gluten-free varieties or use ground turkey for a lighter option. Always use fresh garlic for the best flavor.
